PROTECT MY WP

Terms of Use

Last updated April 2026

These terms cover what you can and can't do with Protect My WP, both the book itself and the site that hosts it.

What you're buying

You're buying personal access to the Protect My WP web reader for your own use, professional or otherwise. This includes the current 13 chapters and any future updates we ship for as long as the site is available.

How access works

When you buy, you receive a unique reader link. This link is the key to your access, so treat it like a password. Don't post it publicly, share it on a forum, or paste it into a Slack channel. If you need access for multiple people on a team, get in touch at [email protected] and we'll work something out.

If a reader link starts being used in ways that suggest it's being shared widely (many simultaneous reads from very different IPs, posted on a forum, etc.) we reserve the right to revoke that link.

What you can't do

The book is copyrighted material. You can't:

You can quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the book. Standard fair use territory.

What we provide as is

The book is technical guidance written from real world experience, but every WordPress site is different. We can't guarantee that following any specific recommendation will prevent every possible security issue, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from following the advice in the book.

The site itself is provided as is, without uptime guarantees. We aim to keep it up reliably and update the book regularly, but we don't promise either.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when. Substantive changes will be communicated by email to existing purchasers if they affect access.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This page is plain-English information about how this site works. It is not legal advice. If you need a binding interpretation of any of the above, consult a qualified solicitor.
